Sango Burgers

I just had lunch with Twin at Mile Long at this new burger joint called Sango. I wanted to have rice but she dragged me here and convinced me that I should try their burgers. We were among the first customers during lunch so the service was pretty fast.

While waiting for the food, I was looking around the quaint burger place and noticed this shelf of Japanese magazines. On the other end of the restaurant, Japanese music videos are being played.

As with any Japanese restaurant I eat at, I would almost always choose anything teriyaki or katsudon. I'm not very fond of the maki stuff or anything raw. So from the menu, I instantly chose the one familiar to my taste buds. Twin wanted to try the rice burger, she's the adventurous one when it comes to food.

I ordered Chicken Teriyaki Burger with Tartar Sauce

This is Twin's Yakiniku Rice Burger

Other specialty burgers include Tonkatsu, Egg Teriyaki, and Chicken Curry. Rice toppings are also available such as the usual Katsudon and Gyudon. I just thought they had juices available aside from softdrinks. Nevertheless, the food was superb.

P.S. There's an added attraction in this place. The comfort room comes with remote controls. Cool!

It was really worth trying out Sango burgers! Good food I must say. Aside from the Creekside Mall Mile Long branch, they also have outlets at South Supermarket Alabang, and Pearl Drive Ortigas Center.

those burgers look mouth watering. yum!!!! me too, i'd rather have cooked meals than raw ones. i find roaming around mile long a bit haunting. so few people. great place.

yep eye, that was what i noticed about walking in mile long earlier, sango was actually the only food establishment on the ground floor, the other spaces were empty. if it weren't for twin's egging that we should try the burgers, we would've gone to another japanese resto nearby like shinjuku or something. i was really craving for japanese food. =)

if you're into pirated dvds/blu rays or just love going to booksale at makati cinema square, sango is just walking distance. the place is "wholesome" compared to the other japanese joints (lots of GROs) in the area. the owner is an old japanese guy who always gives you his cheerful smile and even surprises you with an origami as a souvenir. i always go there when i'm editing or when i have to visit a friend in a recording studio. milelong is a place where sound/post production offices are located.

for some very strange reasons, am not much into japanese food. lol. ah yes, the occasional gyudons and teriyakis, and tonkatsus, cali makis and tempuras, but it's not in my top-tier priority list.

jepayuki, i introduced you to razon's halo halo, now sango. next time, i'll let you eat al fresco hehe. there's a street in malate where people eat beside the sidewalk. food is super cheap and "lutong bahay"...pinoy cooking style!

jepayuki...from high end to the lowest end, i know where the place to be, hehe. i have heard of that place but its other branch in reposo st where i usually hang out closed down! they have very low prices for authentic thai food! but my fave thai resto is people's palace. been visiting the place since the original location in malate up to the day they transferred to greenbelt. brought some friends/date @ gb3. the food, ambience is totally what i like. waiters really know how to serve its customers. re the date, that's where i realized na hindi talaga carry hehe. even if its my fave place, kung walang spark, wala!
